As an alternative to our prescription products
(Nature-Throid and Westhroid) we offer a
dietary supplement utilizing a bovine
source. Hypo Support Formula supports thyroid
co-factors, binding globulins and hormone
precursors required to normally metabolize and
optimize thyroid hypothalamic function.
The ingredients, Thyroid Powder and
Anterior Pituitary Powder, together act as
replacement for hormones that are indigenous to
a normally functioning thyroid gland. The
Pituitary Gland is an active part of the
Hypothalamus Axis; it stimulates production of
TSH which ultimately catalyzes the production of
T4, T3 and decreases incidence of glandular
enlargement.
This product also incorporates L-Tyrosine, a
naturally occurring amino acid and precursor to
the thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and
triidothyronine (T3). The thyroid gland uses
L-Tyrosine in conjunction with Iodine in the
organification process to manufacture T4 and T3.
It can also be useful to control anxiety and
depression. Selenium is a component of the
enzyme that converts T4 to T3 peripherally and,
in sufficient quantities, is known to promote
hormone synthesis, activation and metabolism in
the thyroid gland.
L-Aspartic Acid functions as a neurotransmitter
and may provide resistance to fatigue and
increase endurance. Blue Flag (Iris versicolor)
Flower Powder, the herbal element of this
formulation, works as a stimulant for the
lymphatic system. Its detoxifying properties are
useful in decreasing the non-malignant
enlargement of lymphatic and thyroid glands,
which in turn promotes glandular health.
Boosting the thyroid’s function can prevent
depression, lessen fatigue and vastly improve
overall health.
